Brief School History

Rev. Fr. Innocent Mbah's interest in developing human beings led to the establishment of the College in the year 2012. Bishop Michael Eneja College, Isienu officially started on 5th September 2012. The College started with two classes JSS I & II with initial student population of eighty(80) for JSS I and thirty-five(35) for JSS II. The first PTA meeting of the school took place in November 2012.

Five months later, Fr. Mbah handed the leadership of the school to Rev. Fr. Celestine Ugwuoke who took this office in late January 2013. He started the process of Approval by the government and the college bacame government approved in 2017. The college in 2013/2014 academic Session had her first set of students to take JUNIOR WAEC known as BESEC with 100% performance. He also Started the process of Accreditation for NECO but could not finish it before handing over the leadership of the School to Fr. Dennis Agbo who started this office of leadership of the College in sept 2018

Fr. Dennis Agbo on the other hand completed the Accreditation process of both WAEC and NECO. Consequently the college is writting both NECO and WAEC examinations with excellent result from the students

In consonance with National Policy on Education and the Catholic Policy on education, our cardinal objectives are:

To prepare our students for useful living in the society through acquisitions of appropriate competence and scholastic sophistication.
To prepare these students for Higher Education through teaching and learning of those key subjects that would avail our students access to Nigerian Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education.
To foster our students’ love for learning, encourage them to try new and exciting things, and give them a solid foundation to build on
to develop well rounded, confident and responsible individuals who aspire to achieve their full potential. We will do this by providing a welcoming, happy, safe, and supportive learning environment in which everyone is equal and all achievements are celebrated.
